Elation Professional is pleased to announce the launch of the Lumina Series of warm-white LED washes/blinders made up of the Lumina Strip and Lumina Matrix. Ideal for stage lighting applications where an even wash of warm light or pixel-controllable blinder is required, both fixtures mimic the warm look of tungsten halogen.

Both the Lumina Strip and Lumina Matrix house 7-watt warm-white LEDs (2700K) with high CRI’s for more accurate color reproduction. A 15° beam produces a smooth wash or blinder effect and a perfectly aligned reflector gives the warm look of a halogen lamp. Both fixtures allow for individual pixel control, which opens up for custom designs or user can turn to the convenience of built-in macros. Theatrical grade 0-100% electronic dimming with variable dimming curves allows for easy intensity adjustments and both the Lumina Strip and Lumina Matrix operate flicker free for use in TV, film or any broadcast application.

Lumina Strip

The Lumina Strip is a one meter long linear LED bar that uses ten warm-white LEDs that can be individually controlled. It is ideal for use as a direct view LED blinder or as a foot light for washes of even white light. The Lumina Strip can also be used as an effective uplight for indoor architecture and draws a low 90W of total power.

Lumina Matrix

The Lumina Matrix is a 40 cm x 40 cm (15.75″ x 15.75″) LED matrix panel that uses sixteen warm white LEDs in a 4 x 4 array with individual control of each pixel. It is ideal for stage applications where even washes of warm white light is needed or as a direct view blinder effect with matrix/pixel control. Its versatility covers live events, broadcast, theatre, and touring applications and draws a low 150W of total power.

The Lumina Strip and Lumina Matrix can be rigged side by side in a vertical or horizontal array and come with multiple-unit power linking. A host of features come standard like DMX and RDM protocol, and both fixtures have 5-pin XLR and powerCON in/out connections. Software updates can be made remotely through RDM and an auto-sensing power supply allows the fixtures to operate anywhere in the world.

The Lumina Strip and Lumina Matrix offer all the benefits of LED like greater reliability, less maintenance and increased energy efficiency for a lower cost of ownership and like all Elation fixtures are covered by Elation’s 2 Year Warranty and Total Support.
